We are looking for an exceptional deputy headteacher who shares our vision and ambition for the school, inspiring excellence and innovation while driving continuous improvement for our pupils, staff, and wider community.
We are looking to appoint a Deputy Headteacher who:
· Is passionate about shaping the future of education within our school and is committed to supporting the Headteacher in delivering a clear vision for improvement.
· Has strong leadership skills with experience in leading teams effectively, demonstrating resilience, flexibility, and empathy for all members of the school community.
· Can inspire, influence, and support staff, ensuring high expectations for teaching and learning, and fostering a culture of continuous professional growth.
· Has experience of driving school improvement and implementing key priorities through strategic thinking while balancing this with a compassionate and supportive leadership approach.
· Is an excellent communicator and team player, working collaboratively with the Headteacher, staff, pupils, parents, and governors to maintain a positive and ambitious school culture.
· Can manage competing priorities with clarity and purpose, staying focused on what matters most while fostering a positive, supportive culture for staff and pupils, and maintaining their own wellbeing alongside that of others.
· Has a strong understanding of curriculum development, assessment, and inclusive practice, ensuring that every child, including those who are disadvantaged or have SEND, achieves their full potential.
· Is solution-focused and proactive, ready to take initiative in responding to challenges and driving positive change.
